The Down Low on this story is that Barbara Walters is about ready to let Sherri Shepherd go from "The View". Apparently, all was not well when Sherri went running her mouth to that Christian magazine about getting Barbara saved.

I don't know what to say about this one. Let's face it: Barbara is old and needs to hang it up already. Half the time, I doubt she even knows where she is at! And poor Sherri is cuckoo. I love her personality, but the child doesn't have it all up there!

I loved Beverly Hills, 90210 when I was a teenager! It was probably my favorite television show of all time and I was so in love with Dylan (Luke Perry). I even went out and got the Dylan doll. As a matter of fact, I still have the doll in storage somewhere... Okay, I'm lying! I still have the doll and my daughter has added it to her own doll collection!

So if you loved 90210 as much as I did, then you are just as excited as I am to hear that 90210 (part deux) will debut Sept. 2 with a special 2 hour premiere.

Also, there's more great news! Shannen Doherty has signed on! How can forget the drama that she caused? For that reason alone, I know I've got to watch!

I watch "The View" occasionally for the 'Hot Topics' (if you can call them that)! I missed today's episode when the co-host got into a heated discussion of Jesse Jackson's use of the 'n' word.

Of course, Whoopi and Sherri tried to break it down to Elizabeth, who always has to chirp in with her holier than thou speeches. And, of course, Elizabeth never seems to really get it!

Hon, we do live in the same world! But it obviously doesn't work the same for everyone! Not every mother can work two hours a day for full-time pay. Not every father can play football for a decade without ever leaving the bench, meanwhile raking in the kind of dough many of us can't get working 40 hour weeks with overtime. Not every family can live in this world with this type of lifestyle to afford a $4 million dollar home and rosy-colored spectacles!

I'm from Oklahoma. I might be expected to know more about Juneteenth? Although, I am from a small town, it was acknowledged and celebrated within my community. But I have to admit my knowledge of the holiday was limited. It felt like one big family reunion to me. I guess it took becoming an adult to finally get a history lesson.

Juneteenth originated on June 19, 1865 to commemorate the ending of slavery.

I guess after having a song titled "Cop Killer" and then becoming a play-cop for eight years on "Law and Order", hasn't settled Ice-T down? Now he has gone and started some mess with a seventeen-year-old kid.

The young rapper is named Soulja Boy. You might remember his jump-off hit, "Superman"? Don't front. It really hasn't been to long so everybody remembers that joint. You know the one that had white folks around the world believing that they could dance?

Well, Ice-T probably was probably doing that dance with his wife, CoCo, but he isn't willingly to admit it today. What he has to say about the kid is unbelievable!

In my opinion, there have been many others who killed hip hop long before Soulja Boy. I haven't forgot about Will Smith's " Gettin' Jiggy Wit It"!

Now I'm not a hip hop connoisseur, but I do believe that hip hop and gangster rap had evolved into two different art forms (probably during the 90s')? I like Ice-T, but he wasn't a hip hop artist. He was a full-fledged gangster rapper.

I say leave Soulja Boy alone!

I haven't listened to all of the songs on Lil Wayne's new album, "Tha Carter III". But I have been listening to the radio, watching the music videos and the you tube mixes of some of his hottest tracks: Lollipop, Milli, and others. I like the ones I have heard, being that I am a gurl who loves dirty south beats. But some other people haven't given such great reviews. I have read other bloggers who thought that Lil Wayne's newest album was less than stellar. My sister thought I was crazy for putting his music on my myspace page. I guess they were all wrong!

Apparently, some few million hip-hop heads are listening to "Tha Carter III" and they must be feeling it since they spent the money on it? After only a week, Weezy has gone platinum! And from what the billboard charts are saying, 50 Cents was the last artist to sell more than a million his first week way back in 2005!

This young kid came from Poland only 5 years ago without speaking a word of English. Now, the high school graduate has been accepted to 7 Ivy League schools. Among those choices were Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Columbia, Dartmouth, Penn, Cornell, Georgetown, Stanford and New York University.

He chose Harvard.

Javon Walker: He Can Catch A Football, But He Can't Catch A Break!

Las Vegas law enforcement reported that Oakland Raider, Javon Walker, was found on the Las Vegas strip early Monday morning. Javon was unconscious, and officials say that he had been mugged and beaten.

According to those reports, Javon had been partying this weekend. Gossips sites, like TMZ.com , have pictures of Javon spraying champagne. This isn't the first time partying has gotten him into trouble. Last New Year's Eve, when Javon was still with the Denver Broncos, he and fellow teammates were shot at. One, Darrent Williams, died.

After all the injuries that he has sustained while playing football, I hope that he makes a speedy recovery and those involved are caught soon.

Associated Press gives the update that Javon Walker may be released as early as today.

First, Snoop smokes too much and now we find out that Shante is a heavy drinker. These reality shows are killing these Hollywood families who seem to be trying to impress us average folks out there! They are trying really hard to show us that they're somewhat of a "perfect" family. Not!

According to the Associated Press, Shante Broadus was booked in an Orange County jail early Saturday morning about 12:15 a.m.

She was cited for misdemeanor DUI.

I am a Barak Obama supporter. I really hope that he has what it takes to turn this country around to head in a new direction. He is absolutely right about this being a time for change!

However, I am afraid that if he is the man who becomes our next president, the change we see might not be for the better of the United States.

I believe that racism will rear its' ugly head once again!

Honestly, it's really sad when you hope that people who are racist, just say it. Stop covering up how you really feel. It's scary to think that someone may hate you based on your race, but still smile in your face.

I don't know if I am looking forward to Obama stepping foot in the White House. I am afraid for his life. We already know that people are expecting assassination, some are even gloating about it. I hope that this doesn't happen.

If Barak becomes President of the United States, we need to let this man lead the country. We need to let him make the necessary changes for the greater good of all.

Snoop Dogg takes over One Life to Live

Snoop has been everywhere lately! If you watch daytime soap operas, then you probably saw him last week on "One Life to Live".

"One Life to Live" has had musical talents like Timbaland, OneRepublic, and Mary J. Blige. The performances have been hot! The artists definitely didn't disappoint the fans!

What can I say about Snoop's performance on daytime t.v.? There really isn't any way to describe it, but: Snoop was just Snoop. Calvin Broadus,Jr. did what he does best. He stayed pimpin' for the camera.

I think that his appearance on the show was a breath of fresh air. Snoop's spin on the theme song was cool. What killed me was the fact that Snoop actually had lines!

I actually hope that he shows up in Llanview again!
